Service Cashier

Job Summary of Service Cashier:

A Service Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions, processing payments, and providing excellent service in a food service environment. This role involves taking customer orders, managing cash registers, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting with basic food preparation when needed.Service Cashiers work in restaurants, cafeterias, fast food establishments, and other food service locations.

Responsibilities for Service Cashier:

• Follow all coupon handling procedures accurately and consistently.
• Ensure that all check cashing and payment processes are conducted in accordance with company policies.
• Account for all funds received in each transaction and uphold integrity in financial management.
• It is best to maintain a professional demeanor by refraining from chatting with another associate while checking out orders.
• Abide by company guidelines when scanning and registering customer orders to meet store productivity standards. Ensure precise crediting of items to the relevant departments and that the cart is emptied of all products.
