Job Description for Bakery Chef:

Responsibilities for Bakery Chef:
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods, including bread, cakes, cookies, pastries, pies, and other specialty items.
- Operate ovens and other baking equipment, ensuring temperatures are correct and baked goods are cooked to perfection.
- Monitor ingredient inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Clean and sanitize baking equipment, workstations, and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Regularly inspect baked goods for quality, ensuring they meet the bakery’s standards in appearance, texture, and taste.
Physical Requirements for Bakery Chef:
- Skill to be upright for long periods without sitting.
- Capability to mold, fold, and elevate sizable sacks of flour, sugar, and other baking elements (with a maximum weight of 50 pounds).
- Capability to manage hot ovens and baking equipment effectively.
- Required to excel in a busy and friendly workplace.
