Job Description for Baking Associate:
As a Dunkin Donuts Baking Associate, your main duty will involve creating various types of donuts, bread, pastries, and baked goods. Your tasks will include adhering to and fulfilling a daily par sheet, crafting high-quality baked items according to Dunkin Donuts' stringent standards, adapting to fluctuating par levels under supervision, and upholding rigorous health regulations and food safety protocols through appropriate food management and hygiene.
Responsibilities for Baking Associate:
- Creating and baking an assortment of pastries, bread, cakes, cookies, pies, and specialty treats is part of the baking process.
- Operate baking equipmjent, such as ovens, to maintain accurate temperatures and achieve optimal baking results.
- Supervise ingredient stock levels, procure necessary items, and oversee appropriate ingredient storage.
- Ensure that baking tools, workstation surfaces, and kitchen tools are kept clean and disinfected for a safe and sanitary work setting.
- Routinely examine pastries for excellence, verifying that they align with the bakery's criteria for visual appeal, consistency, and flavor.
Physical Requirements for Baking Associate:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, knead, and lift heavy bags of flour, sugar, and other baking ingredients (up to 50 pounds).
- Ability to work with hot ovens and baking equipment.
- Must be able to work in a warm and fast-paced environment.
